Hands-on experience with User Stories, Manual Testing, Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Strategies.

Familiarity with agile software development processes.

Certification such as ISTQB Foundation or equivalent.

Based in or near Tallinn, Estonia, and fluent in written and spoken English.

A passion for continuous improvement and iterative perfection.

Bonus Points for:

Previous management experience (formal/informal), e.g. team manager, project manager or similar.

Knowledge of React, SQL and the like.

Understanding of test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, observability, or performance testing.

About the Role

As our Software Test Lead, you´ll define and implement testing best practices across Retrievers product ecosystem. You´ll work hands-on with developers, product owners, and designers to ensure quality from idea to release.

Key Responsibilities

    Define and evolve Retrievers test strategy, quality roadmap, and methodologies.

    Contribute to test case design, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement.

    Set up test environments and test customers for realistic scenario simulations.

    Be a key player in our test process, which also includes driving our superusers.

    Conduct a wide range of testing types: exploratory, regression, integration, static and dynamic.

    Collaborate on and offer feedback for test automation efforts, identifying test cases suited for automation.

    Identify and resolve quality bottlenecks across teams and projects.
