The Role
Youre technically curious and eager to dive into the world of streaming infrastructure. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and are driven by user satisfaction and reliable service. With a passion for building scalable processes, youre always looking for ways to improve efficiency and make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor live video streams from various venues to ensure stable, high-quality delivery to end users
- Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for video streaming issues
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve incidents in a timely manner
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior team members or the Development Team when needed
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders, sharing updates, resolutions, and technical feedback
- Assist in maintaining a Knowledge Base of recurring issues and solutions
- Complete additional tasks or small projects as assigned by your line manager or technical specialist
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Good command of English (both written and spoken)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- General technical curiosity and a desire to learn about video streaming technologies
- Basic understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting steps
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, AWS, or Jupyter Notebook
- Exposure to video streaming, multimedia systems, or live broadcasting concepts
- Basic experience with scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
- Understanding of API concepts
- Prior experience working in a support or service desk environment
