Our client, the EU Agency eu-LISA, is currently recruiting for a full-time Lawyer in Tallinn, Estonia, working onsite.

eu-LISA supports the implementation of the EUs Justice and Home Affairs policies by managing large-scale IT systems.

About the Job
The Legal Sector (LGLS) within eu-LISA is responsible for providing high-quality legal support to ensure the Agency operates in full compliance with the EU legal framework. As a Lawyer (Legal Office - AD5), you will play a central role in offering legal advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and supporting the Agency in matters related to procurement, staff regulations, access to documents, and data protection. Your work will directly contribute to the sound governance and legal integrity of the Agencys operations. This position is based on-site in Tallinn, Estonia, and requires permanent relocation.
What are Your tasks:
- Draft and review legal documents, including internal decisions and agreements with external partners;
- Provide legal advice on staff matters, procurement procedures, data protection, and access to documents;
- Contribute to the preparation of legal defences and support court proceedings involving the Agency;
- Monitor and analyse developments in EU legislation and case law relevant to the Agencys activities;
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including legal experts and representatives of EU institutions;
- Coordinate the legal aspects of public access to documents and related internal processes;
- Support the preparation and management of legal service procurement files and contracts;
- Ensure structured archiving and proper organisation of legal documentation.
What is required of your profile:
- University degree in law (minimum of three years);
- Proven professional experience in a legal role, ideally within international organisations or related to EU law;
- Excellent analytical and drafting skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal texts;
- Strong command of English (C1 level);
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

- €5,853 (less than 2 years of experience)
- €6,099 (more than 2 years of experience)
Your salary may be further enhanced through additional allowances tailored to your family situation or or if you are a non-Estonian national residing outside Estonia.
