About this opportunity:
Our final assembly manufacturing department is looking for Producibility Engineer who can review mechanical design solutions from a production point of view and give feedback and improvement suggestions to design departments based in Sweden, so we get producible products at a reasonable cost, with high yield in a short time to the market.
This is a full-time site based role at our Ericsson Estonia Factory on Peterburi tee Tallinn.
What you will do:
- Evaluate mechanical designs of Ericsson products to ensure producibility and cost-effectiveness
- Provide feedback and improvement suggestions to design units globally through the DFM (Design for Manufacturability) process
- Facilitate high yield and timely market delivery of products by enabling assembly processes
- Procure and validate production-specific assembly tools
The skills you bring:
- Experience in mechanical design
- Knowledge of production development processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
- Strong cooperation and communication skills
- Bachelor or master's degree in production engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related field
- Proactive approach to new challenges
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Estonian and/or Russian language skills are a bonus
