Job description
As a Production Engineer for Paste Printing at Elcogen, your mission is to lead the selection, installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of new paste printing and drying production lines. Your role is critical in ensuring the efficient deployment of new manufacturing lines, validating processes, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement industrialization strategies, driving our mission forward.
Your tasks:
- Scaling Up Production Processes: Responsible for scaling up new paste printing and drying production lines and processes.
- Equipment Selection and Engineering: Participate in the selection, engineering, manufacturing, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) of process equipment and tools.
- Installation and Commissioning: Lead the installation, commissioning, SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), validation, and ramp-up of new production equipment in both existing and new facilities.
- Capacity and Yield Assessment: Assess the capacity and yield of new production lines to ensure they meet productivity targets.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: During ramp-up, monitor production parameters, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and productivity schedules.
- Continuous Improvement: Collect and transfer lessons learned, data, and information across different lines and facilities. Apply continuous improvement and LEAN principles to enhance production processes.
- Training: Train manufacturing personnel on new processes and equipment, ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to standard operating procedures.
