We want to welcome a talented and motivated team player to join our Baltic Trading & Operations "Tetris" team in Group Products & Advice! As a Software Engineer at Swedbank, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our data-driven decision-making processes. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing and developing complex financial data and processes, generating valuable insights, and driving strategic initiatives across various business units.

- Contribute in all areas: analyze, design, develop, test and maintain services delivered by the team
- Identify and maintain requirements and solution models, ensuring accuracy and relevance

What is needed in this role:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and Java give advantage
- Process and/or Software modelling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English for cooperation with Group and Baltic colleagues
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or a great reason for not having one
- Experience with software solution to cloud adoption is beneficial
- Solid understanding of financial markets, financial instruments is beneficial
- Experience working in the financial industry within business units is considered as a plus
