Purpose of the role:

The essence of Bombay lies in our exclusive offline venues, designed to immerse our elite VIP clientele in luxury. Reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance, you will provide essential support to the Bombay teams, serving as a key contact point for our Marketing, Commercial, Hospitality, VIP Services, and Casino teams.

Your responsibilities will be: 
  • Researching and staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and practices, including developments in gambling regulations, to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating high-quality commercial agreements (e.g., software licenses, distribution agreements, and game supplier agreements), as well as intra-company agreements, service agreements, and outsourcing agreements related to business operations.
  • Amending and/or re-negotiating existing agreements and managing contract renewals.
  • Liaising with senior management, internal stakeholders, departments, and clients during contractual negotiations.
  • Identifying and consulting on legal risks associated with new product development.
  • Advising on various legal matters, including topical issues, and overseeing the legal aspects of multiple business projects.
  • Assisting with corporate restructuring and other corporate matters.
  • Onboarding and collaborating with external service providers and law firms on jurisdiction-specific legal matters or litigation.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of legal team practices and procedures.
  • Driving enhancements within areas of responsibility.
  • Performing any ad-hoc duties as needed during employment.
What we expect from you:
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a legal role, ideally within the gaming industry or other highly regulated sectors.
  • Holding a degree in Law.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Estonian or other additional languages is an asset. 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and provide business-oriented solutions in both negotiations and daily operations.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management abilities, with an aptitude for prioritizing tasks and working effectively under pressure.
  • Independent work style with ownership skills, paired with an ability to collaborate seamlessly with various teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the business and influencing stakeholders to support strategic goals.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with the passion and ability to foster the same customer-centric culture within the team.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient with a positive, can-do attitude, ready to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., gaming), demonstrating the ability to manage compliance intricacies and navigate industry regulations.
  • Skill in prioritizing matters while working in a fast-paced, evolving industry environment.
