International School of Estonia is a private, co-educational, not for profit school, located in Tallinn city center. ISE is a fully authorised International Baccalaureate Continuum World School. It is also accredited with NEASC and CIS and as such is the only fully accredited International School in Estonia.

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mathematics Tutor to provide one-on-one support for a high school student. The ideal candidate will not only help strengthen the student's mathematics skills but also support them in other science subjects as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and supporting students.

Responsibilities:

Conduct personalized tutoring sessions focused on current mathematics topics and gaps in previous knowledge. If possible, provide assistance in other science subjects, such as biology and chemistry, to reinforce the students understanding. Monitor the students progress, providing feedback and encouragement. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that boosts confidence and motivation.

Qualifications:

Ideally, an academic degree in a relevant field, or be working toward such qualifications.

Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience and a passion for helping students succeed.

Good command of the English language.

Clear criminal record/police check is required from the home country and the country last worked in.
