Requirements for candidates

  • Bachelors or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable course of study.
  • Expertise in API and integration testing.
  • Familiarity with defect management processes, including root cause analysis.
  • Experience with troubleshooting application logs, particularly in Golang-based environments.
  • Strong proficiency in tools such as Postman, Swagger, and NewRelic for testing and monitoring.
  • Experience in preproduction environments and awareness of the impact of changes on system stability.
  •  Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, for cross-team collaboration.
  •  Ability to collaborate closely with development, Level 3 support, and product teams.
  • Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and creating automated API tests.
  •  Experience working in agile environments, familiar with SAFe or DevOps methodologies.

Job description

·        API Testing & Backend QA: Develop, execute, and automate API tests using Postman. Ensure backend services perform reliably, focusing on preproduction environments to guarantee smooth integration before production release.
·        Defect Analysis & Reporting: Analyze defects through application logs and NewRelic insights. Participate in defect management meetings to report progress, resolve issues, and route tickets to the appropriate teams.
·        Change Impact Assessment: Monitor upcoming system changes, assess potential impacts on testing and system stability, and ensure test coverage reflects these updates.
·        Collaboration & Cross-Functional Testing: Work with product and development teams to refine defect resolutions, re-test issues, and validate backend integration with other systems. Ensure any production lessons are applied to preproduction testing.
