Reporting Engineer
The Job in a Nutshell
We're looking for a cool and outgoing person to join our fresh and growing Reporting team. You will be one of the pioneers who will take part in shaping this unit. Preparing and maintaining data for the regulators will be one of your core responsibilities. Thus, excellent knowledge of SQL, attention to detail, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment will help you succeed in this position.
A Sneak Peek into Your Role
- Using SQL to build effective reports that run on large datasets on top of the Postgres database.
- Developing reports that comply with regulatory or in-house reporting requirements, including B2B client needs.
- Having a great understanding of existing regulatory reports portfolio and keeping reports up to date with developments in Coolbet's products.
- Troubleshooting existing reports and finding ways to improve query performance and data integrity.
- Identifying technical debt in our reporting solutions and participating in the elimination of it.
- Writing and maintaining data transformation, regulatory reporting, and KPIs-related documentation.
- Cooperating with the DWH team to implement new Data Warehouse features if required data has not been found.
You're good at
- Writing efficient SQL queries like a champ.
- Understanding relational databases (especially Postgres) and their architecture.
- Solving problems like a pro.
- Taking the lead and working independently.
- Being adaptable and open to shifting priorities when needed.
- Fluency in verbal and written communication in English is essential, as it's our primary means of interaction.
