Nordea is looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to assess the credit risks of partner banks and countries. The Credit Analyst collaborates closely with business teams and other stakeholders across the bank to support its Nordic and International customers.
 
About this opportunity
 
What you will be doing:
  • conducting risk adjusted credit analysis for a portfolio of banks, non-bank financial institutions, and countries in order to provide up to date and relevant credit risk conclusions for the credit decision process,
  • monitoring the customer portfolio to identify early warning signals,
  • analyzing business proposals and ensuring a swift responses through efficient credit analysis process,
  • sharing industry knowledge and your own independent view on credit risk with the stakeholders,
  • collaborating closely with client executives and relationship managers within the Financial Institutions Group as well as credit managers in Group Credit Management,
  • participating in ad hoc projects that will enable transformation of the business based on your expertise.

Your experience and background:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant field,
  • knowledge about the banking environment and the financial markets,
  • experience with analysis of macroeconomic factors, market products and financial institutions is regarded as an advantage,
  • professional skills in interpreting and analyzing financial information,
  • solid technical skills using Microsoft Office software,
  • excellent communication skills in English,
  • Swedish, Danish and/or Norwegian language skill is an advantage.
