Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in blockchain development.
- Proficiency in Rust and experience with the Substrate framework.
- Strong understanding of blockchain concepts, including consensus algorithms and cryptography.
- Experience with decentralized applications (dApps) and related technologies.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Blockchain Development: Design, develop, and maintain blockchain components using the Substrate framework.
- Implement custom runtime modules and pallets to support Opticonomys' unique features.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of the blockchain network.
- Integration and Optimization: Integrate blockchain components with other system elements, such as AI models and competition networks.
- Optimize blockchain performance for speed and scalability.
- Conduct regular code reviews and implement best practices for maintainability and performance.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily/weekly stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Create comprehensive documentation for blockchain components and APIs.
- Innovation and Problem-Solving: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Substrate and blockchain communities.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the functionality and user experience of the Opticonomy platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to ensure a smooth user experience.
