Do you have a couple of years of experience already, or perhaps you have worked as a software tester or developer, but have become interested in the world of integrations and connectivity? Kick-start your career change as a future integration expert through Solita Integration Consultant Academy! We offer permanent employment and Solitas benefits from day one. The Academy is an advanced training programme for both specialists with already a couple of years experience, as well as career changers, passionate about the integrations world.

You will get to know the basics of project work, customer work and technical API & integration development. We will talk about ITIL and problem-solving in integration services. You will learn time estimation skills and well help you to understand what quality means in integration deliveries.

We do not expect you to know it all, since depending on your own interests and competence. It takes a long time to gain senior-level competence with integration and API development but during the academy, well help you to get started. We will share information related to maintenance and development with selected integration technologies. You will learn the importance of a centralised integration platform. You will get to know the basics of databases, messaging standards and communication protocols related to integration environments. We will share with you an understanding of the most common iPaaS and SaaS solutions. We will talk about version management, error handling and integration architectures.

In addition to technical skills, our data and connectivity professionals have general knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) along with awareness of consulting expertise i.e. an understanding of how data can be used to promote and grow a business.

Customer service orientation is an integral part of knowledge sharing. How to work with the customers, how to serve the customer in the best possible way, and how to make sure customers are getting the service they are paying for. Well also share the basics of Connectivity offering to help you to sell new ideas and thoughts to customers.

After the Academy your work will include:

Utilizing data in customer projects
Defining, designing and implementing different integration solutions according to customer needs
Focus areas include APIs, message modelling, integration implementations and CI/CD pipelines

An ideal candidate has:

A couple of years work experience in IT, it is a plus if it is integrations-related
Bachelor's degree in IT
Genuine interest in integrations and data solutions
Cooperative, communicative and courageous with customers
Eagerness to learn and become an expert in the field
Readiness to travel between Solita's offices
Some programming experience or relevant tech experience or data orientation e.g. SQL, databases, relational databases
Any integration technology/platform experience (Mulesoft, Azure Integration Services, Camel, Intersystems, Boomi)
Experience of some of the common technical communication methods (REST, Web service, SFTP, Queues) and some of the common message formats (JSON, XML, CSV)

Solita Integration Consultant Academy is not a bootcamp or a trainee program, but an intensive onboarding to Solitas data business. In such, we expect that you have relevant education through university and have already gained knowledge and skills through work.

Please note that the location for this role is in Estonia. We do support a hybrid way of working but we do not offer fully remote positions.
