Purpose of the role:

Are you passionate about shaping workplace culture and driving people strategies? As the Head of People for Bombay Group, youll play a pivotal role in crafting our companys people strategy and fostering a vibrant culture. Youll collaborate closely with our CEO and Executive team, leading talent acquisition, people operations, people partnership and office management teams. Partnering with the People & Culture Division in the Yolo Group to align key processes, tools, and best practices across our ecosystem.

Our HQ and core assets are based in Tallinn, Estonia. However, our business operations extend beyond Estonia, with potential for further expansion.

Your responsibilities will be:
  • Own, shape and execute comprehensive people strategy across the Bombay Group that is aligned with the Companys overall vision and goals;
  • Provide strategic and hands-on advice and support to the CEO and Executive team on all people-related matters, including talent acquisition, people operations, and office management;
  • Ensure all people and admin operations are working smoothly and focusing on providing the best employee experience and positive working environment for all employees across the Bombay Group;
  • Provide localised support across all Bombay offices, working with local representatives to develop each location;
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing People team, setting clear objectives and fostering a collaborative environment;
  • Ensure all People team activities comply with global legal requirements;
  • Offer high-quality partnership to senior management, from labour law advice to team building.
  • Be the biggest brand ambassador of Bombay, both internally and externally, by creating a welcoming and thriving company culture which is aligned with the Companys Brand Identity, mission, vision and values;
  • Use people data and KPIs to drive informed decision-making, providing reports and insights to senior management;
  • Work closely with the Yolo Group People & Culture Division to ensure smooth alignment of services and tools;
  • Actively support key recruitment roles and ongoing operational matters.
What do we expect from you?
  • A minimum of 3+ years in a senior leadership role in the People & Culture area, with a track record of implementing strategic initiatives on a global scale, preferably in the hospitality industry;
  • Strong experience in supporting and advising senior leadership teams in global organisations, contributing to the overall success of the business;
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in core HR areas, e.g. recruitment, employer branding, and learning & development;
  • Excellent understanding of labour laws in Estonia and other locations where Bombay Group operates;
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective people strategies;
  • Experience using metrics to drive decision-making and mitigate talent risks;
  • Skilled in HR software such as HRIS, ATS, and scheduling platforms (we use Hibob, Wemply, Teamtailor);
  • Experienced in guiding organisations through restructuring, growth, and other transformations;
  • Exceptional at creating meaningful relationships with stakeholders and known for effective communication;
  • An excellent communicator, both oral and written, with proficiency in Estonian and English;
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
