Luminor is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Sustainability Risk Manager at Risk Division. In this key role, you will be at the forefront of Climate & Environmental risk management, navigating the evolving regulatory landscape and leading initiatives that shape our approach to sustainability.

  • Gross salary. 3800-6100 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies

What You Will Do:
  • ESG Regulatory Expertise: be a pivotal expert in ESG, including Climate and Environmental (C&E) risk-related regulatory requirements such as the ECB Guide on climate-related and environmental risks
  • Holistic Compliance: comprehend general regulations for the risk management framework, Internal Capital and Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Processes (ICLAAP), and stress testing, ensuring comprehensive compliance
  • Continuous Learning: stay at the forefront of ESG developments by actively participating in public workshops and conferences, keeping Luminor abreast of the latest trends and regulatory changes
  • Strategic Gap Analysis: conduct an in-depth gap analysis of Luminors processes related to ESG requirements, collaborate with stakeholders across Risk and other divisions, and lead the implementation of a robust action plan
  • Process Improvement Leadership: lead improvement initiatives across all risk-related processes, focusing on ESG risk identification, management, and measurement
  • Quantitative Expertise: develop quantitative requirements for data essential for ESG stress testing, contributing to our data-driven approach in managing sustainability risks
  • Knowledge Sharing: conduct training sessions for employees on ESG risk management, fostering a culture of awareness and responsibility
  • Policy Development: lead the development of policies and internal regulations related to ESG, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
  • Regulatory Compliance: ensure seamless integration of regulatory requirements into internal regulations by reviewing, developing, and maintaining them

What We Expect: 
  • Previous Experience: 3+ years of experience in banking or consultancy in risks and finance area with experience in developing internal regulations for an institution
  • Product Understanding: strong understanding of a banks products
  • Transformational Initiatives: preferably, proven experience or demonstrated capability in taking part in transformational or improvement initiatives in complex, dynamic environments
  • Project Management: project management skills, including the ability to manage different stakeholders
  • Data Literacy: the ability to translate complex datasets and statistical techniques into simple, easily understood concepts visually, verbally, and in writing
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: with an ability to visualize and report insights creatively in a variety of formats to various stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Goal Orientation: ability to complete extensive and complex tasks to the end
  • Education: degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a similar field
  • Language Skills: fluent English is required in spoken and written communication
