YOUR POSITION:
As a Legal Counsel, your role will be to support the legal team in various legal matters and provide assistance in ensuring the organization complies with applicable laws and regulations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will be a part of our Groups Legal & Compliance team, handling everyday legal tasks connected to the Groups activity.
- You will report to the Head of Legal & Compliance, provide assistance in various legal projects and matters, and help to ensure compliance with different internal and external regulations.
- You will review partners contracts, prepare and organize legal documentation, manage internal documentation, and help in drafting and presenting replies to official inquiries by supervisory bodies in different jurisdictions where the Group operates.
- You will be involved in communication and overseeing engagement with our local law firms, partners, and other relevant parties in target markets.
- You will work cross-functionally with other team members in Country Management, Marketing, Finance, IT, and others.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- You have years of legal experience, ideally at an international law firm, in-house expertise is helpful, but not required
- A Master's Degree in Law
- You have strong project management and problem-solving skills
- You have a proactive approach to recognizing needs, solving problems, and anticipating issues
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills and a strong ability to communicate concisely with a wide variety of audiences, including key external stakeholders
- You speak fluent Estonian and English, additional language skills are beneficial
