Join our expanding department responsible for the Financial Crime Prevention, Security, and AI Portfolios at Swedbank. 
 
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
  • Lead and develop a knowledgeable team of architects in an expanding department across a large variety of business-critical deliveries offering unique opportunities for growth and learning.
  • Make a meaningful societal impact collaborating with key partners on the development of architectural vision and strategy in the areas of financial crime prevention, cyber security, identity and access management and AI.
  • Help define the technology solution and environment roadmaps in collaboration with key collaborators to ensure adequate capacity and scalability, and to establish future capabilities, as demand and usage evolve.
  • Actively champion new technologies and innovations to establish industry-leading systems, reduce complexity, improve information flow, and minimize costs.
  • Oversee and ensure that the IT application landscape aligns with strategic needs and objectives.
  • Support an agile development process, foster business agility within the organization and guide the implementation of architectural ways of working, standards, processes, and tools in accordance with Swedbank frameworks and industry best practice.


What is needed in this role:
  • Demonstrated (formal or informal) leadership experience, a customer-centric mindset, business acumen, and excellent communication skills (to both technical and non-technical audiences).
  • Strong team player with ability to build networks, skilled at collaborating and influencing at different levels of the organization in a geographically distributed and diverse environment.
  • A solution-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine interest for innovation and curiosity to explore and internalize industry best practices and trends.
  • Ability to think big and challenge conventional wisdom while cultivating a culture of openness, transparency, and inclusion as well as build, maintain, and grow high-performing teams in an agile development environment.
  • Experience with ambiguity, strong prioritization skills focusing on business advancement, and willingness to take bets on new technology.
  • Extensive experience from IT architecture and technology transformations with accompanying repertoire of methods and tools and strong knowledge of Application/Data/Integration architecture and cloud services.
  • Knowledge of Swedbank IT landscape and experience in one or more of the following domains Financial Crime Prevention, Cyber Security, Crypto & Key Management, Identity & Access Management, AI is highly meriting.
  • Understanding of concepts of information security, information management and personal data protection to ensure compliance in Swedbank IT environments.
  • Experience of working with external vendor procurements to enable improvement of solutions and impacting business activities.
