Tallinn Electrical Engineering Factory ESTEL was established in 1870. Today, the company occupies the leading position in the power converter equipment market and develops, manufactures, and supplies a wide range of power converter equipment and power semiconductor devices, using complex technological solutions.

We are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • A solid understanding of design documentation, drawings, and schematic diagrams;
  • Ability to perform electrical calculations;
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors;
  • Understanding standard processes occurring in converter technology;
  • Good knowledge of the modern elemental base for the transformation of technology;
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and customers;
  • Initiative and results-orientated, have a strong personal drive;
  • The ability for international business travel to support customers' orders;
  • Perfect spoken and written Estonian, English, and Russian.

Key responsibilities and duties

  1. Carrying out tests (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, climatic, etc.) of the products manufactured by the enterprise to verify compliance with technical documentation;
  2. Registration of the protocols based on test results;
  3. Development of the technological instructions for setting up and testing products;
  4. Development of technical requirements for test equipment;
  5. Implementation of commissioning on the customer's territory;
